Pupil voice group has been key to transforming the school's food culture

At St Luke's Primary School, each class has a nominated  'food rep' to make sure every child is eating healthily and enjoying their food. The food reps encourage children to eat well and make the right choices at mealtimes. They meet on a regular basis to discuss any problems with the food and also to talk about which dishes are most popular. They also meet with the Cook and Newham Food Supervisors to share their thoughts on the menus and make changes where necessary. Click here to see a video of the food reps talking about their role within the school.
