Community partnerships support cooking in the curriculum

Oasis Academy South Bank teaches 120 year 7 pupils each week how to cook and eat well. Cookability, a London-based social enterprise, used its networks with supermarkets to secure supplies from local supermarkets to support the school’s hands-on cooking programme.

Cookability Founder Michael Davies, gives tips on the best way to set up partnerships with food businesses in your community, and Carly Mitchell, principal at OASB, shares ideas on how to create a great food culture.
