Creating a student led programme to improve school food

The Leeds School Food Ambassador (SFA) programme champions the voice of young people, by providing an opportunity for greater account to be taken of children’s views and increasing levels of participation in decision-making in the food in school policy. It's a tried and tested method to engage pupils in monitoring school food.
